My mom and I were looking through various things when we came across our name tags from when we went to Quebec, Canada way back in 2002 for a family reunion. It’s written “Choquet-te” because there are 2 different spellings depending on whereabouts you are. Mine’s kinda smudged up because it was raining one of the days we were there and it got wet. I wish I remembered what my coat of arms meant. XD

She cultivates a taste for small pleasures: dipping her hand into sacks of grain, cracking crème brûlée with a teaspoon, and skipping stones at St. Martin’s Canal.
My life’s goal is to find somebody who will watch this with me without being like “Ugh, it’s in French?”
Um, HELLO!? I have nothing against French movies. XD My gay uncles are also quite fond of them.

Whenever I see the phrase ‘voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir?‘ I always think of that video of John Lennon playing Lady Marmalade on the studio piano in Abbey Road Studios when he visited it a few years after the Beatles broke up.

My mom got a spam message in French on Facebook and I roughly translated it. I feel like a baller since I haven’t taken French in like 4 years.

One of my favorite books as a little kid, plus back when I lived in Paris I attended Marymount school for three years (Marymount is the “old house covered in vines”, only nowadays it’s vineless!)
Madeline! My all time favorite book as a kid!
Wow, this brings back memories… I’ve wanted to go to Paris ever since I first read this. =P

Quelqu’un, s’il vous plaît me faire un café Starbucks. Now would be lovely. :)
Haha, I recently found my French binder when I was rearranging my room and I’ve been attempting to reteach myself various things. I find that the most useful phrase is Je ne sais pas - I don’t know. XD Though I am quite surprised at how much French I’ve somehow remembered.
Je ne sais pas comment parler francais…. :/ - I don’t know how to speak French.
That’s also quite useful. XD J’ai besoin de votre aide is also pretty useful - I need help. French idioms are also quite amusing and I only remember them because of how random they are lol. un gros jambon - a big ham; perdre son ballant - to lose its dangle; and mele-toi de tes oignons - to scramble your own onions. XD
